Happy Halloween!

We continued our tradition of trick or treating in Vestavia with my favorite Vestavia moms :)  Gabe was so excited about being Woody....well up until it was actually time to wear his costume.  I had to bribe him with a cupcake to put it on.  I joined in on the fun and dressed up as an Indian.  I love Halloween.  I even wore my costume to work.

Pumpkin Patch- October 2011

Gabe's class took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Clanton, AL.  I went with and Pop Pop met us there.  He had so much fun!

I wish I would have gotten pictures of the acutual Pumpkin Patch.  Gabe could have cared less about getting pumpkin.  He just wanted to run around and play in the hay.  We had a great time, this was my first time to a pumpkin patch too!

Ohh....and in case you are wondering what happens to a pumpkin after two weeks or so.....

( I forgot to toss it before I went out of town.....ooops)

October 2011- Visiting Pop Pop and MiMi

October is here- and the weather has been amazing.  Gabe and I traveled home to Alex City to hit up the October Fest and go to the State Fair (in Montgomery).

We let Gabe run around on the baseball field at the Sportplex- He loved it!  and found a baseball!

Labor Day Weekend- Charlotte, NC

I just want to say Praise God I made it home safely from Charlotte.  I went over labor day weekend to visit my bestie Kristen.  I don't think I will be flying again for a while.  My flight was delayed about 30 minutes due to the weather.  We boarded and took off in the drizzly rain.  Once we were above the clouds it was smooth soaring for about 30 minutes.  We began to make our decent and my stomach began to knot.  Lots of turbulence!  I clinched to the armrest as I prayed over and over while taking deep breaths.  The pilot announced, "well folks, we attempted to land but hit a gust of wind and they have directed us to circle around and try again....if it doesn't work we will reasses the situation".....Who wants to hear that on a plane?  If it doesn't work??????  I felt like I was about to throw up.  I'm sure the passenger next to me would have liked that.  We did land and everyone on the plane burst into clapping and cheering- whew.  Scary stuff.

The weekend was great though!  I love Kristen and miss her so much!
