Da Beach

Gosh, I love the beach. Everytime I go, I say “I want to live here”. Maybe I can have a house there one day and since I love the mountains too, I can have a cabin on a lake in the mountains. No big right?

I am not really in the mood to write a lot today, so I’m just going to let pictures tell the story. Bottom line- We had an amazing time and Gabe loves da beach!

Trend Forecasting....

I love nail polish, especially fun colors.  I have already left the bright summery colors behind and am pushing the dark colors for fall/winter.  I love prediciting what color will be the new trend, I totally called grey 3 years ago by the way....(dusting my shoulders off)

Yes, please check out my parents sporting their fanny packs....It took me years to convince them these are NOT COOL.  And everyone knows if you are going to wear a fanny pac you don't go front and center with it- off the side people!

Weekend Wrap

Gabe and I had a great lazy weekend.  I need a weekend like that everyonce in a while.  Saturday, Gabe went to his first movie in a theater (which I hear people don't call it the "theater" anymore....but I still do).   He did so well!  We went with "Miss Brooke" who is a strong advocate for the dollar theater.  We did popcorn, candy, and soda- the works!  We saw Mr. Poppers Penguins and he loved it.  I will have to take him to another one soon.  Good times!

Sunday, I decided to take him to the pool to get him more aquainted since we are heading to the beach in a few weeks.  Every time before he has HATED the pool.  I'm talking trembles with fear.  A switch was flipped (guess he is 100% male...ooo Burn) and he loved it today.  He wanted to go under water, wanted to jump off the side into the water and wanted to swim on his own.  I was thinking- Is this my child???  I hope this wasn't a one day thing.  Now, I need to go invest in some floaties.  I think it wore me him out, because after we took a 2.5 hour nap :)
