I went back to San Diego after Christmas, and this time took the little man with me. This was his second time to fly...and it was interesting to say the least. We actually missed our flight out of Birmingham, because they decided to pull everything out of my carry on since I was traveling with a nebulizer- ugh. I was super paranoid we would miss our connecting flight, but we made it with few seconds to spare. No time for potty break or food- but at least we were on the plane. Gabe again traveled as a lap baby- aka- FREE. Our assigned seat was next to an elderly lady, and I honestly didn't know how we were going to squeeze in with my carry on, purse, his stuff, etc.... The flight attendant approached me and said they had a row of extra seats in the back if I was interested. HECK YEA. So Gabe and I spread out across 3 seats in the very last row of the plane. It was perfect. He threw a few fits here and there, but overall the 4 hour flight was managable. Each headrest had tv screens on the back so that helped too. Check out the pics below-
